Yoga consists of physical postures (asana), meditative practices, breathwork, and other components of yogic philosophy as a way of living toward the goal of enlightenment. There are myriad styles of yoga now practiced in the Western World ranging from slow stretching to fast paced flow classes.
Meditation is often talked about in today’s fast-paced world as a way to pause and drop inside. Like yoga, there are a wide range of meditation practices from simple breath-awareness and compassion-based meditations to visualizations and the use of mantras and mudras.
Sound healing uses the frequencies and vibrations of sound to help reduce stress in the body, enhancing both physical health and emotional well-being. During sound healing sessions, the body is affected on a cellular level, balancing the nervous system and providing emotional release.
